Short version: your documents are never uploaded anywhere. All processing is local in your browser. We collect no document content whatsoever.
Anonimus does not collect, store, transmit, or process the content of any document you anonymize. The text you paste or upload is processed entirely inside your browser by a locally running AI model. It never reaches our servers or any third-party server.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically records minimal technical metadata for each page request: anonymized IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp. This is standard web server logging used solely for security and availability monitoring, not for identifying individual users or correlating with document content.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) to measure aggregate page traffic. These systems do not use cookies, do not track individuals across sessions, and never have access to your documents.
Anonimus may display ads via Google AdSense or similar networks. Ad networks may set cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing history. This is entirely separate from the document anonymization functionality — ad systems have no access to your documents. You can manage ad preferences via Google Ad Settings or your browser's cookie controls.
Anonimus uses your browser's Cache API and IndexedDB to store the downloaded AI model weights locally. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear it at any time from your browser's site data settings.
Anonimus loads resources from the following external services on first use:
Each service is governed by its own privacy policy. None of them receive your document content.
Because we collect no personal data tied to your documents, there is nothing to delete or export on request. To remove locally cached model weights, clear site data for this domain in your browser settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Anonimus after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Questions about this policy can be directed through the RuntimeHub website.
